According to the flash estimate released by Statistics Estonia (SE), in the third quarter, GDP expanded 3.4% over the same period last year, which was above the 2.2% increase recorded in the second quarter. In seasonally and working-day adjusted terms, GDP rose 1.7% quarter-on-quarter, which was faster than the 0.5% increase tallied in the second quarter. According to SE, construction, information and communication activities contributed the most to GDP growth in Q3, followed by trade and transport activities. On an expenditure basis, both export and import growth accelerated in the third quarter. A more complete dataset for national accounts will be released on 10 December
