Exchange Rate in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bosnia and Herzegovina Exchange Rate (aop) | Economic News & Forecasts

Bosnia and Herzegovina - Exchange Rate (average of period)

The economy appears to have kicked off the third quarter in a lower gear following a likely weak second quarter. Industrial production fell at a sharper rate in July on contractions in the manufacturing, electricity and gas supply, and mining and quarrying sectors. Moreover, merchandise export growth continued its downward trend in the same month amid waning demand from a sluggish EU. On a brighter note, tourist arrivals rose at a robust annual pace in Q2, which should help cushion a slowdown. Meanwhile, in the political arena, the government deadlock drags on 10 months after October’s elections. In late August, the tripartite presidency failed again to form a new state-level government ahead of the rapidly approaching 5 September deadline, as the trio remains bitterly divided over NATO membership.
