Spain: Industrial output growth dips in July
Industrial output grew 5.3% year on year in seasonally- and calendar-adjusted terms in July (June: +7.0% ). The result largely reflected weaker consumer goods output. In addition, intermediate goods output contracted.
On a seasonally- and calendar-adjusted monthly basis, factory output fell 1.1% in July (June: +1.1% mom). Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 2.6%, up from June’s 2.4% reading.
