Poland: Industrial output growth eases in October
Industrial output increased 1.0% in year-on-year terms in October, a softer rise than September’s 5.9% expansion. Looking at the details of the release, mining and quarrying production declined at a softer rate in October, while manufacturing output increased at a weaker pace. Meanwhile, electricity, gas and utilities output shrunk at a faster rate compared to the previous month.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 1.9%, down from September’s minus 1.7%.
