Poland: Industrial production rebounds in November

December 23, 2016

In November, industrial production in Poland expanded 3.3% over the same month of 2015, which notably contrasted the 1.3% contraction recorded in October. The upturn reflected a rebound in manufacturing output as well as a smaller drop in mining and quarrying production.

Meanwhile, annual average growth in industrial production edged down from 3.7% in October to 3.3% in November.

FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panelists expect industrial production to increase 3.9% in 2017, which is down 0.3 percentage points from last month’s forecast. For 2018, the panel expects growth in industrial production to be 4.5%.
