Latvia: Harmonized inflation moderates in October
Harmonized inflation came in at 21.7% in October, down from Septembers 22.0%. The result was driven by moderating price pressures for transportation and housing and utilities.
Annual average harmonized inflation rose to 15.0% in October (September: 13.7%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation fell to 21.7% in October, from Septembers 22.1%.
Finally, harmonized consumer prices increased 0.84% from the previous month in October, below September’s 1.50% increase.
