Lithuania: Industrial output growth gains steam in March
Industrial output increased 25.8% in year-on-year terms in March, which was above February’s 19.9% increase. March’s notable upturn was largely due to pickups in manufacturing and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning production.
On a monthly basis, industrial output grew 11.3% in seasonally-adjusted terms in March, rebounding from February’s 4.2% fall and marking the best result since June 2012. Meanwhile, the trend improved sizably, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 22.6%, up from February’s 21.9% reading.
