Lithuania: Industrial output records slowest growth since August 2021 in April
Industrial output increased 18.4% compared to the same month of the previous year in April, which followed March’s 27.4% increase. April’s figure marked the lowest reading since August 2021. April’s downturn came on the back of easing manufacturing and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning output.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly basis, industrial production plummettedplummeted 7.1% in April (March: +12.4% mom), the worst result since April 2020. Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 21.9% in April, down from March’s 22.7%.
