Lithuania: Industrial production growth slows in July
August 21, 2015
In July, industrial production expanded 4.6% over the same month last year, coming in significantly below June’s 11.2% expansion. July’s deceleration reflects mainly a decrease in manufacturing output.
On a sequential basis, industrial production dropped 0.2% over the previous month in seasonally-adjusted terms, contrasting the 0.7% increase seen in June. Annual average growth in industrial production was stable at June’s 3.3%, thus remaining at the highest level since December 2013.
