Lithuania: Industrial output records quickest growth since June 2023 in February
Industrial output expanded 3.8% year on year in February, which was above January’s 0.4% increase. The result marked the best reading since June 2023 and was largely driven by faster growth in manufacturing production. In addition, mining and quarrying output rebounded.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production fell 3.0% in February (January: +3.8% mom). Meanwhile, the trend improved significantly, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 8.4% in February, up from January’s minus 11.7% reading.
