Italy: Inflation remains stable in June
According to a flash estimate, consumer prices increased 0.10% over the previous month in June, after flatlining in May. Looking at the details of the release, the reading largely reflected higher price pressures for transport.
Inflation came in at 1.3% in June, matching May’s figure. Annual average inflation rose to 0.3% in June (May: 0.1%). Lastly, harmonized inflation ticked up to 1.4% in June, from May’s 1.2%.
