Israel: Manufacturing PMI falls in February
The Bank Hapoalim/IPLMA Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) came in at 52.3 in February, down from January’s 53.9. As such, the index remained above the 50.0 no-change mark, pointing to a softer improvement in manufacturing sector operating conditions from the previous month.
The headline print reflected the exports and employment subsectors slipping into contraction. Moreover, output and new orders growth slowed.
