Guatemala: Economic activity growth speeds up in November
Economic activity increased 2.8% compared to the same month of the previous year in November, which was above October’s 1.6% increase. The headline print was primarily driven by growth in the trade and vehicle repair, financial and insurance activities, real estate, information and communications, accommodation and food services, and electricity and water sectors.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of economic activity coming in at 3.5% in November, down from October’s 3.6% reading.
