Greece: Industrial output growth eases in July
Industrial production increased 7.0% year on year in working-day adjusted terms in July (June: +8.9% yoy). The result was largely due to weaker manufacturing output growth. In addition, water supply and mining output contracted.
On a monthly basis, industrial output rose 0.9% in seasonally-adjusted terms in July, which was notably below June’s 3.4% expansion. Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth fell to 6.7% in July (June: +6.8%), signaling a worsening trend in the industrial sector.
