Greece: Industrial output bounces back in February
Industrial output grew 4.8% year-on-year in working-day adjusted terms in February (January: -0.5% yoy). February’s notable rebound was largely due to faster growth in manufacturing production. In addition, electricity supply output contracted at a softer pace.
On a monthly basis, factory output rose 2.0% in seasonally-adjusted terms in February, contrasting January’s 4.1% fall. Meanwhile, annual average growth of industrial production was 9.6% in February, matching January’s result.
