Ecuador: Consumer prices drop annually in March
Consumer prices rose 0.18% from the previous month in March, following the 0.08% increase in February, logging the highest reading in nearly a year. March’s result largely reflected higher prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as for transport.
Consumer prices fell 0.8% in annual terms in March, matching February’s decline. Similarly, the annual average variation in consumer prices came in at February’s minus 0.5% in March.
