Dominican Republic: Economic activity growth recedes to 20-month low in October
Economic activity increased 3.8% compared to the same month of the previous year in October, which was a deterioration from Septembers annual 4.8% increase. Octobers result was the softest growth rate since February 2021.
Consequently, annual average economic activity growth moderated to 6.3% in October (September: 6.8%), which marked a 15-month low.
Lastly, on a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, activity slid 0.4% in October, which was a deterioration from the prior months 0.2% decline.
