Dominican Republic: Economic activity growth accelerates to three-month high in March
Economic activity rose 2.1% in year-on-year terms in March, which was above February’s 1.8% increase. March’s reading was the strongest growth rate since December 2022.
Still, annual average economic activity growth fell to 3.7% in March (February: +4.0%), pointing to a worsening trend.
Lastly, on a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, activity expanded 0.6% in March, slowing from February’s 2.0% increase.
