Denmark Business Confidence November 2017

Denmark: Business confidence remains steady in November

November 29, 2017

According to the business survey conducted by Statistics Denmark, business confidence in November mirrored October’s reading, coming in at two points. As the result remains above the zero-point threshold, it indicates that manufacturers continued to be optimistic about future economic prospects.

A breakdown by component shows that perceptions regarding order books and stocks of finished goods improved, but were offset by slightly less optimistic views on production expectations.

FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panelists expect gross fixed investment to increase 3.1% in 2018, which is unchanged from last month’s forecast. For 2019, panelists forecast an expansion of 2.8%.
