Belarus: Industrial output records slowest expansion since December 2020 in July
Industrial production increased 2.7% year-on-year in July (June: +6.9% yoy). The outturn marked the worst reading since December 2020. In detail, manufacturing output increased at a softer rate , while both mining and quarrying and utilities subsectors were buoyant. Underlying dynamics remained weak as sequential data for manufacturing and utilities deteriorated.
Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth rose to 6.2% in July (June: +6.0%), signaling an improving trend in the industrial sector.
