Austria: Industrial output growth eases in June
Industrial output increased 5.0% in June (May: +8.5%). The slowdown in growth was largely driven by easing capital goods and non-durable consumer goods output. However, durable consumer goods production accelerated.
On an annual basis, industrial production fell 10.3% in June, a softer drop than May’s 14.3% fall. Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 4.9% in June, down from May’s minus 3.8% reading.
