Argentina: Industrial output growth cools in February
Industrial output grew 1.6% year-on-year in February, following January’s stronger 4.2% expansion. February’s reading was driven by higher production of metal products, non-metallic minerals and other equipment.
On a calendar-adjusted monthly basis, industrial output fell 1.6% in February (January: +1.7% mom). Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 6.7% in February, up from January’s minus 6.9% reading.
