Coffee Price Outlook

Coffee prices continued to rise over the past month as severe drought in top-producer Brazil and strict Covid-19 curbs in Vietnam raised concerns over supply. On 7 October, Arabica coffee traded at USD 192 cents per pound, which was up 3.9% from the same day last month. Moreover, the price was up 96.8% from the same day last year and was 59.7% higher on a year-to-date basis.
