Coffee prices averaged USD 339 cents per pound in June, down 10.8% from May. On 30 June, the commodity traded at USD 305 cents per pound, down 12.5% from 30 May.
Average prices for arabica coffee fell in June at the quickest pace since November 2022 as abundant rains in key exporter Brazil eased supply concerns in recent weeks. An advancing harvest in the country and surging global inventories also weighed on prices.
