Coffee Price Outlook

Coffee prices plunged below the symbolic USD 100-cent threshold in recent weeks as higher exports and incoming data pointing to a large Brazilian off-year harvest signal ample supply. On 8 March, Arabica coffee traded at USD 81 cents per pound, which was 21.3% lower than on the same day last month. The price was down 20.1% on a year-to-date basis, and was 32.6% lower than on the same day last year.
