Coffee Prices

Coffee prices averaged USD 373 cents per pound in October, down 0.4% from September. On 31 October, the commodity traded at USD 372 cents per pound, up 2.4% from 30 September.

Prices for arabica coffee averaged near September’s four-month high in October. A sharp drop in inventories due to a 50% U.S. tariff hike on Brazilian coffee kept prices elevated, while forecasts of rain in key producing areas in Brazil and speculation that the U.S. might lift its tariff halted further price rises.
