Coffee Price Outlook

Coffee prices have increased significantly over the past month owing to tight supply, as logistics restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic dented output and exports in some major producers. On 11 September, Arabica coffee traded at USD 118 cents per pound, which was 21.1% higher than on the same day last month. In addition, the price was 16.6% higher than on the same day last year, but was down 7.8% on a year-to-date basis.
