Sweden: Economic sentiment increases in July
Latest reading: Economic sentiment rose to 104.3 in July, following June’s 102.8. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy and the highest since June 2022.
In July, sentiment improved in the industrial sector (+5.8 vs +5.6 in June), the construction sector (-12.7 vs -13.3 in June), the retail sector (+30.3 vs +22.7 in June) and among consumers (-1.9 vs -5.1 in June). On the flipside, sentiment darkened in the services sector (+25.6 vs +26.6 in June).
