India: Industrial production speeds up in June
Latest reading: Industrial production was up 7.3% in annual terms in June, following a 5.0% rise in the previous month. June’s reading was the strongest since July 2024.
Relative to the prior month’s data, readings in June improved for manufacturing (+7.8% in annual terms vs +5.2% in May), mining (+1.0% vs -1.4% in May) and electricity (+11.4% vs +11.1% in May).
