Czech Republic: Industrial production recovers in June
Latest reading: Industrial production increased 1.3% in seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in June, following a 0.5% fall in the previous month.
Relative to the prior month’s data, readings in June improved for manufacturing (+0.8% on a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis vs -0.4% in May), electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (+5.5% vs -0.4% in May) and mining and quarrying (+2.2% vs -0.3% in May).
In working-day adjusted year-on-year terms, industrial production rose 4.0% in June, following a 2.0% increase in the previous month.
