Turkey: Industrial output records slowest growth in over a year in September
Industrial output growth slowed to a 13-month low of 8.5% on a calendar-adjusted year-on-year basis in October from 9.0% in September. The reading came solely on easing manufacturing output growth, as output growth in the mining and quarrying as well as the energy sector picked up pace.
On a monthly basis, industrial production swung from a 1.5% contraction in September to a 0.6% expansion in October.
Meanwhile, annual average growth of industrial production jumped to 19.2% in October from 17.4% in September.
