Thailand: Manufacturing activity falls at sharpest rate since April in October
Manufacturing output dropped 2.1% month-on-month in seasonally adjusted terms in October (September: +0.3% mom). October’s figure marked the worst reading since April.
On an annual basis, manufacturing output fell at a more moderate pace of 4.3% in October (September: -6.3% yoy), the best result since May. Meanwhile, annual average of manufacturing output was 5.4% in October, matching September’s result.
