Sweden: Inflation hits four-month low in June
Consumer prices with a fixed interest rate rose 0.10% from the previous month in June, moderating from May’s 0.22% rise. June’s result marked the softest rise in prices since January. The reading was driven by moderating price pressures for housing, and utilities, and easing price pressures for food and non-alcoholic beverages.
CPIF inflation came in at 1.6% in June, which was down from May’s 2.1%. June’s reading represented the weakest inflation rate since February. Meanwhile, the trend was unchanged, with annual average inflation coming in at May’s 1.1% in June.
