Sweden: CPI and CPIF inflation hold steady in December
Consumer prices increased 0.4% in December from the previous month, up from the 0.1% increase in November and partly due to more expensive transport prices. Inflation was unchanged in December from November’s 1.8% reading.
Consumer price inflation with a fixed interest rate (CPIF inflation)—which is closely followed by the Central Bank—was unchanged in December from 1.7% in November, remaining within the Central Bank’s 1.0%–3.0% tolerance band.
