Sweden: Industrial production decelerates in May
Latest reading: Industrial production—excluding energy—was up 1.1% in calendar- and seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms in May, following 3.6% growth in the prior month.
Relative to the prior month’s figures, readings in May worsened for manufacturing (+1.0% in calendar- and seasonally adjusted month-on-month terms vs +3.4% in April) and mining (+0.9% vs +8.8% in April).
In working-day adjusted year-on-year terms, industrial production rose 8.4% in May, following a 6.4% increase in the prior month.
