Slovenia: Inflation edges up in October
Consumer prices rose 0.3% over the previous month in October, following a 0.4% month-on-month increase in September. Four out of the 12 sub-components recorded lower prices, four saw a rise in prices and for the remaining four, prices came in flat from the previous month. Prices for recreation and culture registered the biggest drop, while, clothing and footwear saw the largest upturn in prices.
Inflation edged up to 2.2% in October, from 2.0% in September. Harmonized consumer prices increased 0.4% over the previous month in October, following a 0.5% rise in September. Meanwhile, harmonized inflation inched up to 2.3% from 2.2% in the previous month. Annual average harmonized inflation came in at 1.9% in October, marginally up from 1.8% in September.
