Slovenia: Inflation edges up in July
Consumer prices fell 0.7% over the previous month in July, after rising 0.4% month-on-month in June. A sharp drop in the prices for clothing and footwear led the decline, which more than offset higher prices for recreation and culture. Meanwhile, harmonized consumer prices also declined 0.7% in July, following a 0.3% month-on-month upturn in June.
Inflation edged up to 2.0% in July from 1.8% in June. Harmonized inflation mirrored this result, rising from 1.9% to 2.0% in July. Lastly, annual average harmonized inflation remained at 1.8% in July.
