Slovenia: Economic sentiment rises in July
Latest reading: Economic sentiment went up to 100.9 in July, following June’s 100.3. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In July, sentiment improved in the industrial sector (-2.5 vs -4.2 in June), the construction sector (+3.9 vs +3.3 in June), the retail sector (+18.1 vs +17.1 in June) and among consumers (-19.4 vs -20.0 in June). However, sentiment darkened in the services sector (+10.8 vs +12.7 in June).
