Slovenia: Economic sentiment improves in June
Latest reading: Economic sentiment rose to 100.2 in June, following May’s 98.2. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In June, sentiment brightened in the industrial sector (-4.3 vs -5.7 in May) and among consumers (-20.0 vs -26.5 in May). On the flipside, sentiment darkened in the construction sector (+3.3 vs +6.1 in May), the services sector (+12.8 vs +14.4 in May) and the retail sector (+17.1 vs +20.1 in May).
