Serbia: Economic sentiment drops in June
Latest reading: Economic sentiment fell to 89.9 in June, following May’s 93.2. The latest reading was below the long-term average of 100, pointing to a muted near-term outlook for the economy and the lowest since July 2025.
In June, sentiment darkened in the industrial sector (-4.4 vs -3.1 in May), the construction sector (-6.2 vs -5.6 in May), the services sector (-2.3 vs +3.3 in May) and the retail sector (+7.1 vs +7.6 in May). On the flipside, sentiment turned more upbeat in among consumers (-4.3 vs -4.5 in May).
