In August, sentiment darkened in the industrial sector (-5.0 vs -4.2 in July), the retail sector (+4.6 vs +6.6 in July) and among consumers (-20.4 vs -19.5 in July). However, sentiment improved in the construction sector (+6.3 vs +4.8 in July) and the services sector (+7.9 vs +7.5 in July).
