Poland: Economic sentiment increases in June
Latest reading: Economic sentiment increased to 100.6 in June, following May’s 100.3. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In June, sentiment improved in the industrial sector (-14.3 vs -14.6 in May), the services sector (-2.8 vs -2.9 in May) and among consumers (-13.3 vs -13.8 in May). However, sentiment darkened in the construction sector (-15.6 vs -15.2 in May) and the retail sector (-2.1 vs -1.7 in May).
