Peru: Business confidence unchanged in October
The business confidence indicator was stable at September’s 47.0 points in October. Thus, the indicator remained below the 50-point threshold that separates pessimism from optimism.
October’s result reflected broadly unchanged expectations in most categories. Expectations on the general economic situations over the next 3 and 12 months didn’t change, as did expectations on the company in both the short- and medium-term. Moreover, businesses held stable expectations on the conditions of the sector in the next 12 months while, demand prospects improved from the previous month, although only marginally.
