Netherlands: Economic sentiment rises in June
Latest reading: Economic sentiment rose to 101.6 in June, following May’s 97.5. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In June, sentiment brightened in the industrial sector (+1.5 vs -1.6 in May), the services sector (+3.9 vs +3.7 in May) and among consumers (-17.4 vs -21.9 in May). However, sentiment darkened in the construction sector (+16.9 vs +19.7 in May) and the retail sector (+1.5 vs +8.9 in May).
