Lithuania: Economic sentiment drops in June
Latest reading: Economic sentiment dropped to 102.1 in June, following May’s 103.0. Still, the latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy.
In June, sentiment softened in the industrial sector (-7.9 vs -6.8 in May) and the retail sector (+3.7 vs +6.3 in May). However, sentiment improved in the construction sector (-5.4 vs -8.2 in May) and among consumers (-1.5 vs -1.7 in May). Meanwhile, sentiment in the services sector was stable from May at +10.2.
