Greece: Industrial output deteriorates in February
Industrial output declined 1.7% in month-on-month seasonally adjusted terms in February, which contrasted January’s 3.1% increase. The reading was chiefly due to contractions in both manufacturing production and electricity supply output.
On an annual basis, industrial production rose at a softer pace of 1.6% in February (January: +10.2% yoy). Accordingly, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 2.7%, down from January’s 3.0% reading.
