Finland: Inflation drops lower in March
Consumer prices dropped 0.2% in March compared with the previous month, reversing February’s 0.3% uptick. The decline largely reflected lower prices for transport, and food and non-alcoholic beverages, while higher prices for clothing and footwear and healthcare tempered the overall decline.
Inflation dropped marginally to 0.6% in March from 0.8% in the prior month. Meanwhile, annual average inflation inched lower to 0.9% in March from 1.0% in February. Lastly, harmonized inflation nudged down to 0.9% in March from 1.1% in the previous month.
