Finland: Economic sentiment increases in June
Latest reading: Economic sentiment increased to 100.4 in June, following May’s 98.1. The latest reading was above the long-term average of 100, pointing to a positive near-term outlook for the economy and the highest since May 2022.
In June, sentiment brightened in the construction sector (-16.0 vs -19.6 in May), the services sector (+6.9 vs +3.1 in May), the retail sector (+11.9 vs +9.3 in May) and among consumers (-5.3 vs -10.7 in May). On the flipside, sentiment worsened in the industrial sector (+4.4 vs +4.5 in May).
