Dominican Republic: Economic activity decelerates in July
Latest reading: Economic activity increased 4.6% in annual terms in July, following a 6.4% increase in the prior month. According to preliminary data, mining activity contracted heavily, and construction and services lost steam from June. On a brighter note, agricultural and manufacturing output gathered pace.
In month-on-month terms, economic activity rose 0.1% in July, following 0.2% growth in the prior month.
