Denmark: Manufacturing production shrinks in July
Latest reading: Manufacturing production fell 5.5% on a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis in July, following a 6.2% rise in the prior month. July’s reading was the weakest since January 2025.
Relative to the previous month’s data, readings in July softened for non-durable consumer goods (-3.6% on a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis vs +3.7% in June), investment goods (-10.3% vs +16.4% in June) and intermediate goods (-3.9% vs +2.0% in June).
In seasonally adjusted year-on-year terms, manufacturing production rose 3.3% in July, following a 12.4% increase in the prior month.
