Denmark: Economic sentiment deteriorates in November
Economic sentiment fell to 89.3 in November from October’s 92.5. Consequently, the index moved further below the long-term average of 100, pointing to a muted near-term outlook for the economy.
The headline print reflected weaker sentiment in the industrial sector and softer sentiment in the services sector. These developments outweighed improved sentiment in the construction sector and higher sentiment in the retail sector in the surveyed month. Finally, consumer confidence was up in November.
Considering indicators that are not used to calculate the index, employment expectations weakened, while the economic uncertainty index increased in November.
