Croatia: Industrial output rebounds in September
Industrial output increased 1.6% year on year in working-day adjusted terms in September, which contrasted August’s 2.4% decrease. Looking at the details of the release, the improvement was driven by rebounds in manufacturing production and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply output. That said, mining and quarrying output shrank at a faster rate in September.
Meanwhile, annual average of industrial production was unchanged coming in at August’s 0.9% in September. On a seasonally and calendar adjusted monthly basis, industrial production rebounded notably, rising 4.3% in September (August: -2.2% mom), the best result since June 2020.
