Poland: Retail sales growth gains steam in September
Retail sales increased 3.6% year on year in September (August: +3.1% yoy). September’s print marked the best reading since March. Looking at the details of the release, motor vehicles, motorcycles and parts sales in September expanded at a faster pace.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average variation of retail sales coming in at 8.3%, down from August’s plus 9.8%.
