Cyprus: Industrial output grows at fastest pace in over one year in August
Industrial production expanded 3.0% year on year in August (July: +1.4% yoy). The figure marked the best reading since May 2022. Looking at the details of the release, manufacturing production gained steam in August, and electricity supply output also gained momentum.
Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at 0.1% in August, contrasting July’s minus 0.3%.
